Lights, Camera, Action: The Top iPad YouTubers
11 iPad-related YouTube channels that are worth your time
“YouTube is fun, but like sometimes it’s very distracting” - Rohith, one of my best friends.
I agree - YouTube can be very distracting. It’s important to filter out what’s valuable content and what’s not.
Today, I’ll take a look at eleven of my favorite iPad-related YouTubers. While I don’t currently follow all of the channels listed, I have at some point over the past couple years (I know the value each provides).
I’ve also made sure to have a wide diversity of channel sizes, ranging from <50,000 subscribers to >3 million subscribers.
The Giants (> 1 million subscribers)

Official Channel Description:

While Ali has sort of transitioned from a tech/student focus to a self-development focus, he still makes the occasional tech-related video (case in point: 27 Apps That Shaped My Life in 27 Minutes).
He also has a massive library of iPad-related videos, on top of general app videos (he has a playlist of 16 videos titled “My Favorite Apps”).
Max Tech (1.04 million)

Noah has a LOT of iPad-related content. He posts a good mix of everything: comparisons, rumors, reviews, software, apps, and literally anything else you can think of.
For any students out there, he also posts many “iPad ___ - Student Perspective!”-type videos.
Canoopsy (266k)
Official Channel Description:
Tech videos for humans. Proudly made in Toronto.
Unofficial Channel Description:
While Isaac discusses everything across the Apple spectrum (and occasionally non-Apple devices), one of the core pillars of his channel is the iPad.
He posts all types of videos, from software discussions to “day in the life” videos to reviews. He also has a running desk setup series, and a few of the setups revolve around the iPad.
His videos tend to focus on quality > quantity—while he doesn’t post as often as some of the other channels on the list, his videos are fantastic to watch.
DailyTekk (436k)
Official Channel Description:
Amazing tech videos creatively presented including tests/demos, lists, comparisons, reviews, unboxings and more! If you love the latest phones, gaming tech, smartwatches, accessories, Apple products, laptops, and more… this channel is for you.

Chris doesn’t exclusively focus on iPads, but it is one of the core components of his content.
He covers useful iPad tips, like apps, accessories, comparisons, etc. He doesn’t make many rumor videos, though he sometimes discusses news in his videos.
Christopher Lawley (149k)
Official Channel Description:
This channel is all about proving it’s possible to work only from an iPad and other iOs devices. I cover everything the iPad, automation, and productivity.
Unofficial Channel Description:
Chris is probably the most technical iPad user I’ve ever seen. While he covers news/reviews, my favorite part about his content is the technical stuff (like this video and this video). He covers automation, accessories, and workflows (basically, he discusses the iPad through the lens of a productivity expert).
Samuel Suresh (315k)
Official Channel Description:
I make videos about my experiences and struggles as a student to share what I have learned with others.
Unofficial Channel Description:
Samuel is the definition of quality > quantity. With just 24 videos, he has over 300k subscribers (when I put out 24 videos on my old channel, I had around 150).
His videos are what really inspired me to get an iPad - they showed the iPad as this powerful, creative tool that you could do anything with.
For any students who just bought an iPad, Samuel Suresh is my go-to recommendation.
The Smaller Creators (< 100k subscribers)
Fernando Silva (44.4k)
Official Channel Description:
This channel is going to be for mostly technology reviews, thoughts and ideas. I will also be adding videos about health and fitness from time to time. Any requests please let me know!!
Unofficial Channel Description:
Sadly, Fernando has moved on to 9to5Mac, so his video production has slowed down.
However, he has a huge library of videos, many of which are exclusively about iPads. His videos cover reviews, apps, accessories, rumors, etc.
Harris Craycraft (97.8k)
Official Channel Description:
Student. Runner. Technology lover. And everything in between.
Unofficial Channel Description:
Harris is another student iPad user, and that’s a primary part of his content. He makes reviews and comparisons from the lens of a student, which can be helpful for anybody interested in note-taking on the iPad.
Byte Review (96.3k)
Official Channel Description:
Tech & aesthetic
Unofficial Channel Description:
Like the official description says, this channel is primarily focused on tech with an aesthetic vibe. It covers reviews, desk setups, productivity tips, software, accessories, etc.
It’s a great channel, and it’s inspired some of my past post ideas.
