How Bhagat Uses The iPad Pro As A High School Student
A look into how my best friend uses the iPad everyday
My best friend stole his brother's iPad (to be fair though, his brother barely used it).
Now that he’s had the chance to use it for a few weeks, I thought this would be a great time to “interview” him.
He also comes from a different viewpoint: he’s not as into tech as I am, and he uses the iPad in combination with a MacBook.
Here’s how he uses the iPad Pro to take notes, study with friends, and (hopefully) ace anatomy tests:
Why Did You Get An iPad?
Like Adi said, I "stole" the iPad from my brother.
My brother had an issue with his old laptop, so my mom got him an iPad Pro for his birthday. Weeks passed by, and the iPad sat in the living room (my brother was too lazy to even set up the iPad 😂).
After seeing Adi and others use iPads at school, I decided to test out the iPad for myself. From then on, I've used the iPad Pro to help study for school. This is especially important due to our upcoming finals.
What's Your Favorite App?
The Notes app on the iPad is definitely a favorite of mine.
The functions the app offers are truly helpful when taking notes. I use it to draw diagram, sketch ideas, and take simple notes.

What's Your Favorite Accessory?
The Apple Pencil is by far my favorite.
As someone who isn't super techy, the fact that an accessory can charge by attaching itself to the iPad is mind-blowing.
The Apple Pencil has helped me unlock the potential of the iPad Pro for note-taking, making it my recommendation for other students who recently bought an iPad.
What's Your Favorite iPadOS feature?
I like the feature allowing the user to split the screen in multiple ways. Adi just told me that there are actually two features like this: Split View and Stage Manager.
In my case, these features come in handy when working on video assignments, taking notes on lectures, and joining study sessions on FaceTime.
What's Your Number One Tip For iPad Users?
My number one tip for iPad users is to simply enjoy the experience and try out new features and apps as much as possible. There's so much this device has to offer!
