After 160+ units, I’m sitting at a 4.0 GPA (highest possible grades).
I don’t say this to brag. Instead, it’s a sign that my study techniques work.
And one of the best apps in my toolbox is Feyn.
About Feyn
Feyn is a unique note-taking app. Unlike other flashcard apps, it uses handwritten notes.
You can write notes on your iPad (handwritten notes = greater retention). Then, you can study them on your iPhone.
It's an amazing app I've used for years, and Feyn's free plan is more than enough for most people.
For the value it provides, it’s super underrated. I’ve rarely seen it mentioned anywhere outside this newsletter.
Core Features
It has a ton of cool features, including:
Folders
Folders within Folders within Folders
Tags
iCloud Sharing (this is my favorite by far)
Multitasking support
Easy-to-use UI
There are tons of flashcard apps out there. But if you're looking for something that has a good free plan and just works, Feyn is my recommendation.
Notes
For a while, there was an issue where notes just wouldn’t save properly. This was a couple of years ago though, and I haven’t experienced any problem since.
Other people love Feyn. Everyone I’ve recommended it to has loved it and keeps using it.
Final Thoughts
Hope this helps you ace your next test/final/presentation. Sorry for the short post, been extremely busy lately.
Thanks for reading!
Adi
PS—Shoutout to Concepts ⬇️
Concepts is an "unlimited canvas" note-taking app I've used for years (if you don't believe me, check my post history). I use it to take notes, brainstorm article ideas, and come up with startup ideas.
It's one of the few apps I highly recommend for every iPad user out there. And I genuinely believe this (again, check my post history if you wanna verify this claim).
Concepts has been kind enough to offer a free 30-day trial. And no, you don't have to enter your credit card info.
Show Concepts some love ❤️—they're amazing sponsors.
